BECOME OUR TRAINEE

The Foundation for Access to Rights - FAR is a Bulgarian non-governmental organization, which mission is to ensure practical access to rights and effective protection against arbitrary deprivation of rights. To achieve that, one of our main activities is to provide legal assistance to refugees, asylum seekers, stateless persons and migrants in situations revealing systemic problems in access to rights where solutions of these problems would enhance social justice. The main principles in our work are to respect the right to be heard and to have an individual approach towards the case of each person.

Furthermore, in order to build a solid foundation for access to rights in Bulgaria, FAR’s activities also include independent professional research on access to rights in Bulgaria, advocacy that contributes to developing a favourable (legislative) environment in line with European and International standards for the protection of human rights and communication campaigns to increase the institutional and public awareness, sensitivity and commitment to the need to address systemic problems in access to basic human rights. FAR organizes trainings and develops printed and digital resources for students, lawyers, judges and civil servants. Young people are our inspiration and we have established a permanent training programme in refugee and migration law for young specialists that is based on the methods of “learning by doing” and action research.

More information about FAR and its activities and projects can be found on its official webpage - http://www.farbg.eu/
