In 2020 the Foundation for Access to Rights - FAR implemented the project “Hallmark Online Presence Enhanced-HOPE”. The project was funded by the European Program for Integration and Migration (EPIM), a collaborative initiative of the Network of European Foundations.

Migrantlife.Bg (previously Refugeelife.bg) was created as an information tool for refugees and migrants in Bulgaria with practical information about their daily life in the country in four languages (English, Arabic, Persian and Urdu). It provides a “Local Guide” and an interactive map to service providers. Its last update, however, was performed in March 2019 and a new update was urgently needed to keep the website vibrant and useful. As its hosting is in Bulgaria, the need to introduce a section in Bulgarian has also been identified to increase google referrals. As a result of the update, the platform has been enhanced from Refugeelife.Bg to Migrantlife.Bg, there is a Bulgarian language version of the website, a new section Request Assistance was introduced and the content is currently updated as of 27 November 2020.

In addition, an overhaul of FAR’s main website, www.farbg.eu, took place as a key component of developing a new communications strategy of FAR and enhancing its capacity-building. The project funding also supported the provision of two new computers at FAR.
