Izabela joined FAR as an intern in March 2021. She is part of the project The Capital of Tolerance in an Era of Pandemic: Students Connect the Academic Community and Non-governmental Organizations to Benefit Refugees and Migrants. The project is executed by the MultiKulti Foundation in partnership with UNCHR and the Bulgarian Council on Refugees and Migrants and is funded by the Crisis as an Opportunity program of the Sofia Municipality, administrated by the Sofia Development Association.

Izabela is a fourth-year law student at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE). Her interest in migration and refugee law was sparked during the time she spent at university. She likes defending human rights.

Between August 2020 and February 2021, she successfully completed the theoretical and practical training for refugee and migration law in the project DEFEND: Preparing a new generation of young guardians of the rights of refugees and migrants. She is currently a participant in the internship program Anticorruption Academy at the UNWE.
